One of 2 studios
on the premises

Upon stepping onto the property and "working art studios" of the Kerebels you will immediately realize you've arrived at an unusual place...

The first thing greeting you could be an unusually friendly and beautiful German Shepherd... or perhaps a wonderfully large Black Poodle...

LOOK AROUND AT YOUR SURROUNDINGS... A canopy of Palms and ornamental tropical trees is above you, white sand beneath... There's a crystal

The properties structures are also works of art... this is the kitchen
clear pool nearby. Several structures are around you. They are weathered a classic grey and adorned with plants and other items... antiques, wood carvings, large shells, vases, sculptures and other interesting things. Birds chirp nearby.

Where are you, you may wonder? Just a minute ago you were on Moorea island, following signs to the "Golden Nugget" Jeweler

Joselyne loves her rabbits...
you have come to see... and now you're in the midst of things unusual and captivating, but not seeing the jewelry shop!

The property is well organized and beautifully landscaped. The nearest building to the pool you notice is an open air structure with a large wagon wheel resting on it's side. It's marvelously well decorated. Looks like a kitchen maybe... Whats that other little building there? (its the gallery, you later find out..)
And... What's up with THE DUCK? (You find out later she is Alains best necklace model)

Interesting and unusual people make interesting and unusual art... Somewhere in that timeframe of wonderment is when you'll meet Alain Kerebel. Oh, you'll know it's him allright. A character of a man, large and well tanned. Sporting a large white handlebar mustache, Alain has classic good looks...He likes to think of himself as an "old west Moorean", and indeed, that's a good way of describing him. If he's dressed to kill, he may be wearing a classic style Western cowboy hat, a western shirt, and boots...otherwise, he'll just be in his usual shorts and barefeet.

Inside the Gallery
Either way, speaking good english, Alain will ask you if you've "come to see the jewelry". If you're aware of the quality of jewelry you're about to experience, you most certainly have, and if you know anything of the history of the man you're talking to, you're here to SEE ALL THE ARTWORK, because to just "see the jewelry" of Alain and Joselyne Kerebel would be to miss the rest of the magic of these two world class artists.

Unique and powerful paintings...
Working proudly alongside this fascinating artist man is an equally fascinating artist woman. Her name is Joselyne, and she's Alain's wife of over 20 years. She and Alain co-create the wonderful pearl and gold jewelry you'll be able to see here on the premises, and she also has become an accomplished painter, following Alain's tutelage.
As you might expect, their history is quite fascinating... They met in Polynesia back in the old days, when Alain first moved here from Africa, and Joselyn was a TV announcer...

The rest, shall we say, is history. FIND OUT a litttle MORE ABOUT the KEREBELS COLORFUL PAST.

THE KEREBELS WOULD LOVE TO SHARE THEIR PAINTINGS AND JEWELRY CREATIONS WITH YOU ON YOUR NEXT VISIT TO MOOREA. CUSTOM WORK IS AVAILABLE.
