CASUAL WALKING
      Get out and enjoy a nice healthy walk on Moorea. Go anywhere, anytime, without fear of crime. Perhaps there is no better way of enjoying yourself for free on any of the Society islands.
      Some of your options include simply walking along any part of the road system encircling the island or checking out Moorea's various sights, gardens, parks, or whatever...

BICYCLE RIDING
       What a great way to see the island! Healthy and fun, bicycle riding is a really fun activity. Moorea has a paved road encircling the entire island thats just perfect for riding. There are a few places to rent bicycles on the island. More details coming soon...

FYI: MOUNTAIN BICYCLE ENTHUSIASTS: The bicycles available for rent on Moorea are basic ROAD bicycles. There are some nice mountain biking roads on the island, but it's difficult to find true, hardcore bikes to be able to ride them the way you want to... There's a few locals riding singletrack, so maybe finding one of those guys is your best bet to better info on hardcore biking. Bringing your own mountain bike would be rather inconvenient, but possible... (You'd definately be loving it once you got to the island.)
